Platelet Cryopreservation. 2. Efficiency of Cryopreservatives Based on Cryoprotectant Combinations Under Different Freezing Regimens
Keywords:
platelet concentrate, combined cryoprotective media, freezing regimens, cooling rates, crystallization plateau, supercoolingAbstract
The effect of different freezing regimens of platelet concentrate with combined cryoprotective media on the indices of platelet morphofunctional integrity was studied in the research. The highest and the most stable results were obtained at freezing regimen with high cooling rates as well as with the absence of overcooling and rapid passing through the crystallization plateau.
